The Project

The windows within this gorgeous ranch home were nearing the end of their life and were in need of replacement. The poorly insulating units led to constant drafts, leaving the homeowners uncomfortable with the temperature in their home and with the high energy bills they were paying.

After upgrading, the homeowners mentioned a noticeable difference regarding energy efficiency in the home. The new windows provided much better thermal performance allowing the home to stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter—a change that was also noticed on the monthly energy bill. The Windows

This job included the installation of single-hungs, twin single-hung mulled units, and a large picture window above the door. Another key feature is Viwinco’s opaque/frosted glass, which can be see seen in the bathroom. This type of glass allows natural light to come in while maintaining full privacy.
